According to Pegasus Publishers, Estable has been writing for more than twenty years and is recognized for his adaptability across poetic styles, from traditional sonnets and free verse to haikus and children’s poetry. The NYC Big Book Award drew submissions from around the globe. Participants included attorneys, doctors, entrepreneurs, film and television writers, historians, and journalists—ranging from well-known authors to first-time independent writers, as well as small and large publishing houses.
Entries this year came from the United States and nations such as Australia, Canada, China, Dubai, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. Represented cities included Auckland, Baltimore, Dallas, Frankfurt, Hollywood, Johannesburg, Manhattan Beach, New Orleans, NYC, Philadelphia, Sydney, and West Palm Beach.
