Nero’s Langley Flower Shop is broadening its online bouquet service, enabling customers across the Lower Mainland to request fresh, garden-grown arrangements for delivery in a new way, while still providing pickup in Murrayville.

This expansion comes after rising interest in the flowers typically offered at Nero’s Garden Stand, the family-operated flower stand near Five Corners in Murrayville, and addresses the need for convenient access to locally grown bouquets throughout the region.
“A simple idea to share flowers from our garden turned into something far larger than we anticipated,” said the team behind Nero’s Langley Flower Shop. “People wanted bouquets for birthdays, celebrations, thank-yous and everyday occasions, including those who couldn’t easily come by to pick them up. Expanding delivery allows us to reach more of the Lower Mainland while ensuring each arrangement stays personal and seasonal.”

Unlike a conventional florist that provides fixed, uniform designs, Nero’s Langley Flower Shop uses whatever is flowering and available at the time of each order.
The garden boasts over 50 rose varieties, along with seasonal flowers like snapdragons, zinnias, calendula, cosmos, yarrow, astilbe, dahlias, gladiolus and other garden-grown stems.

Each collection denotes a general size, abundance and design style rather than a fixed recipe. Bouquet photos are shown as examples only, and actual flowers, colours, foliage, vases and containers may change depending on seasonal availability and current stock.
“That natural variation is what makes the bouquets so unique,” the team said. “We don’t want every arrangement to feel mass-produced or the same. The garden evolves, and the bouquets evolve with it.”
The online ordering system acknowledges the realities of a small, seasonal flower business. Customers submit a request instead of an automatically accepted order, enabling the shop to verify flower availability, vase availability, daily production capacity and whether delivery is feasible for the requested location and date.

Once a request is approved, customers get confirmation by email and, if chosen, text message. Customers may pay via e-transfer, while cash at pickup remains an option for pickup orders. Customers receive updates when arrangements are ready for pickup or scheduled for delivery.
The system also lets customers order multiple arrangements at once, including different bouquet types, with up to 10 vases in a single request.
Behind the scenes, the shop uses a daily capacity system to maintain quality as demand increases. Instead of accepting unlimited orders, the team can adjust how many bouquets are prepared for upcoming delivery and pickup dates based on current blooms, vase availability, workload and delivery capacity.
“We prefer to say yes to the right number of orders and craft each bouquet beautifully rather than overbook ourselves,” the team said. “Delivery helps us reach more customers, but we are growing carefully so we don’t lose the personal touch that drew people to our flowers in the first place.”
Nero’s Garden Stand will continue as a local flower stop in Murrayville, offering fresh mason-jar arrangements as available. The expanded online service now provides customers across the Lower Mainland another way to request larger bouquets, special-occasion arrangements and advance orders for delivery, while pickup remains available in Murrayville.
