With the event only five days away, Knowledge Networks is fully prepared for the Universal AI Awards 2026 — India Edition, the inaugural India chapter of the world’s foremost platform recognizing achievements in AI policy, ethics, responsible AI, and governance. The daylong summit along with the gala ceremony is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, running from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Centered on the theme “India: The AI Powerhouse for Tomorrow,” the India Edition unites policymakers, corporate leaders, academics, and innovators to celebrate those who are not just implementing AI but are governing it responsibly, scaling it ethically, and applying it for genuine societal benefit. With one of the biggest developer communities globally and a quickly growing national AI initiative, India is no longer a latecomer in the worldwide AI narrative—it stands as a governance frontier. The awards aim to document, celebrate, and establish the benchmark for what responsible AI leadership means in the world’s largest democracy.
The New Delhi event kicks off the global program, with the subsequent stop and Grand Finale taking place in Miami in December 2026, coinciding with the G20 Summit.

The India Edition operates as a single full-day experience combining a conference, awards ceremony, networking, and cocktail reception. The day begins at 10:00 AM with registration and a delegate welcome, where attendees sign in, pick up delegate kits, and network over welcome refreshments. The morning transitions into keynote sessions and leadership addresses on India’s AI governance agenda, followed by afternoon panel discussions, fireside chats, and closed-door roundtables with jury members and industry leaders. The evening culminates in the Universal AI Awards gala ceremony across all 23 categories, leading into a networking cocktail reception running until 8:00 PM. The entire day’s program takes place at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board influences the platform’s governance, jury makeup, and global positioning, serving as founding voices for the recognition platform.
