2026 Hugo Award Winners Announced at LAcon V in Anaheim

The recipients of the 2026 Hugo Awards, the Lodestar Award, and the Astounding Award, recognizing the finest in science fiction and fantasy, have been announced.

ANAHEIM, CA, UNITED STATES, August 30, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The brightest figures in science fiction were honored during an evening ceremony on Sunday at the 84th World Science Fiction Convention, LAcon V 2026, where the winners of the 2026 Hugo Awards, Lodestar Award, and Astounding Award were unveiled. This formal event, held Sunday, August 30, inside the Anaheim Convention Center Arena, paid tribute to exceptional genre achievements spanning novels, dramatic presentations, emerging writers, and artists.
