Their recognition occurred during the PRSA Women of Impact Summit & Awards held Aug. 6 at the Union League Club of Chicago.

These national honors celebrate women whose guidance, creativity, and impact are strengthening organizations, advancing the communications field, and generating possibilities for others. Honorees come from a variety of career levels and practice areas across the nation.

“This national acknowledgment is a huge privilege and a testament to the meaningful narratives we are fortunate to convey about Savannah and Tybee Island,” Christopher said. “I take particular pride in being honored next to Tanvi, whose inventiveness, drive, and dedication to quality embody the finest qualities of the upcoming generation of communications leaders.”

Christopher oversees Visit Savannah’s earned media approach for leisure travel and meetings and conventions, highlighting Savannah and Tybee Island to area, national, and global audiences. Since joining Visit Savannah, Christopher has played a key role in arranging prominent media coverage that has boosted awareness of the location and displayed its heritage, culture, cuisine, hospitality, and visitor offerings.

“This award holds deep meaning because it celebrates not just career accomplishment, but also the value of ongoing learning, personal growth, and creating pathways for others,” Chauhan said. “I am thankful to PRSA, to Supriya for her direction and mentorship, and to the whole Visit Savannah team for backing bold concepts and thoughtful storytelling.”
