The inaugural title from Sacred Stages Press is now available, representing a major step forward for the National Christian Association of Professional Speakers (NCAPS) and its mission to help speakers broaden the impact of their work beyond live audiences.
On August 17, the cover of the imprint’s debut book, The Flamingo Advantage: How to Leverage Unique, Stay Relevant and Change the World by Katie Hornor, was displayed on a digital billboard in New York’s Times Square, publicly marking the milestone.
The revised and enlarged edition of The Flamingo Advantage officially launched on August 18 via Sacred Stages Press, which is the NCAPS-owned imprint under Morgan James Publishing.
This release marks the first finished project bearing the Sacred Stages Press name, introducing book publishing as an additional channel for NCAPS members to create and disseminate the intellectual property underpinning their speaking careers.
For a long time, professional speakers have leveraged books to build credibility, archive their ideas, and connect with audiences beyond single events. Sacred Stages Press was established to offer eligible NCAPS members a publishing route that is directly linked to their role as professional communicators.
“A speaker's message should not have to end when the audience leaves the room,” Hornor said. “We believe in legacy messages. Messages that can continue to impact the world beyond your lifetime. Sacred Stages Press gives our members another way to steward the ideas they have been entrusted with and put those ideas into a form that can continue reaching people for years.”
Hornor’s work centers on differentiation, relevance, and the strategic importance of being distinctive in business and leadership contexts. This updated edition contains expanded instruction, refreshed examples, and extra practical exercises.
Although this is the imprint’s debut publication, NCAPS leaders consider the milestone’s importance to go far beyond just one writer.
By founding Sacred Stages Press, the association now has a vehicle to assist professional speakers in transforming keynote ideas, frameworks, research, and teachings into lasting intellectual property. Additionally, it provides another avenue for professional growth for speakers aiming to increase their impact via both oral and written communication.
The Times Square reveal acted as a public introduction to this broader vision, presenting Sacred Stages Press not merely as another book imprint, but as an extension of NCAPS’s mission to empower Christian professional speakers with enhanced reach and lasting influence.
Now that its first title is in distribution, the imprint transitions from an idea to an operational publishing platform, adding print media to the framework NCAPS is constructing around the professional speaking field.
