The joint presentation in Linz will focus on field robotics, AI-supported operational decisions, and control over sensitive digital infrastructure.

AUGSBURG, GERMANY, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ASSIST Software and Codesphere are set to take part in the IKT Security Conference 2026, scheduled for September 16 and 17 at the Design Center Linz in Austria.

This conference, hosted by the Austrian Armed Forces, stands as one of Austria’s premier gatherings for information security and cybersecurity. It convenes experts from defense, public administration, research, critical infrastructure, and the private sector.

Tudor Andronic, Managing Director of ASSIST Software GmbH, and René Döhring, Chief Product Officer at Codesphere, will deliver a joint session exploring the application of robotics, artificial intelligence, and sovereign cloud technology in operational environments.

Their talk tackles a concrete challenge: organizations desire the speed and analytical power of AI, yet they cannot give up command authority, oversight of sensitive data, or accountability for outcomes.

“AI can filter observations, identify relevant information, and reduce the time needed to understand a situation,” said Tudor Andronic. “The final judgment must still belong to the person responsible for the operation. That division of responsibility has guided the system we will present in Linz.”

ASSIST Software will also showcase a robotic field companion built to enhance situational awareness. This mobile platform relies on onboard computing and AI-driven sensing to detect pertinent activity and relay alerts to personnel.

All processing occurs at the edge, enabling the system to function without requiring a persistent connection to an external cloud.

The system is designed for sensing and analysis, while operational decisions stay under human oversight.

The presentation will further cover AI’s role in military training, operational planning, and after-action analysis. In every instance, AI assists with information processing and prepares material for evaluation. Plans, interventions, and conclusions remain subject to human approval.

Codesphere will address the infrastructure requirements underpinning these applications. Its Virtual Cloud Platform lets organizations deploy and manage workloads across public cloud, sovereign cloud, private cloud, and on-premises systems through a unified control layer.

This approach grants defense and public-sector organizations greater flexibility in determining where applications and data are hosted, while preserving control over security, governance, and operations.

The conference session will outline the core principles behind the joint concept. More detailed technical discussions and a live demonstration will be offered at the ASSIST Software and Codesphere booth.

The IKT Security Conference 2026 will be held at the Design Center Linz, Europaplatz 1, 4020 Linz, Austria.
