Organized by the Vintage Computer Federation and Computer History Museum, Ronald G. Wayne Will Be On Hand to Distribute Copies of His Book and Sign Autographs
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, UNITED STATES, July 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — On August 1st, Ronald G. Wayne, the creative thinker who played a part in launching the early stages of the globally-iconic Apple Inc., will return to Mountain View, California. He will serve as a featured guest at the Vintage Computer Federation’s Vintage Computer Festival West, put on in partnership with the Computer History Museum—an interactive display of groundbreaking computer technologies.
During his appearance on Saturday, August 1st, Ronald G. Wayne will take part in a 45-minute talk and Q&A session covering his tenure at industry giants Atari and Apple. There, he offered crucial assistance in refining Atari’s internal structures and workflows, drafted the original Apple partnership contract, created Apple’s inaugural logo, and wrote the Apple-1 Operations Manual, along with initial technical schematics and enclosure ideas. His documentation and organizational strategies formed the foundation for Apple’s earliest activities.
Following that, Wayne will be present for a 45-minute meet-and-greet session and autograph signing in CHM’s Learning Lab. This will feature his books, as well as replica memorabilia and artifacts spanning from the 1960s through the 1990s.
What’s more, on Sunday, August 2nd, he will be at the venue for an additional discussion session.
