Attendees at the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition can now see the world’s most prized trophy in person

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, October 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia has announced that guests at the 2026 Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition will have the opportunity to observe and snap pictures with the original Saudi Cup trophy.

As one of the globe’s most valuable horse races, the Saudi Cup is set to occur at Riyadh’s King Abdulaziz Racetrack on Feb. 5 and 6, 2027.

Through a dedicated booth at the exhibition, the club is showcasing horse racing, its premier events, and the 2026-2027 Riyadh Racing Season, according to spokesperson Faisal Al-Atawi.

The racing season spans from Oct. 16, 2026, through April 17, 2027, featuring 50 race days and 569 contests, with total purses around 235 million riyals ($62.7 million).

In addition to the trophy, the club’s booth will feature a selection of other awards and share details about what visitors can expect at King Abdulaziz Racetrack, including activities on race days.

Al-Atawi noted that the club’s involvement underscores the connection among horse racing, falconry, and hunting within Saudi tradition, while allowing the organization to present the sport to a broader audience.

The Saudi Cup will feature total prize money of roughly $40 million, with the main race awarding $20 million. It draws elite horses and jockeys from racing hubs such as the United States, Europe, and Japan.
