BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, June 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — HBCU Arts and Castle of our Skins announce a major Summer 2026 collaboration featuring a three-city concert tour and week-long Martha’s Vineyard arts festival celebrating HBCU artistry, entrepreneurship, intergenerational mentorship, and cultural legacy.

The collaboration begins with Blacknificently Divine, a three-city chamber concert tour featuring artists from HBCU Arts and Castle of our Skins performing music by the Blacknificent 7 Composer Collective—Jessie Montgomery, Jasmine Barnes, Shawn Okpebholo, Damien Geter, Dave Ragland, Joel Thompson, and Carlos Simon—alongside a newly commissioned work by emerging composer Jaylin Vinson.

The Vineyard Arts Festival

Following the concert tour, the collaboration continues with a week-long arts festival on Martha’s Vineyard that brings together musicians, visual artists, entrepreneurs, and community members in a celebration of HBCU culture and Black artistic excellence. The festival includes performances, workshops, panel discussions, and networking events designed to support emerging artists and foster intergenerational mentorship.

The partnership between HBCU Arts and Castle of our Skins represents a significant collaboration between two organizations committed to celebrating and advancing Black classical music and arts. Castle of our Skins is a Boston-based concert series and producer dedicated to celebrating Black artistry through chamber music.
