Academic prestige is coming to Anaheim this fall, as Stanton University prepares to cement its place among the nation’s most distinguished institutions of higher learning. The university will officially install its Phi Kappa Phi chapter during an Installation Ceremony scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of its Anaheim Campus. With this installation, Stanton becomes the 366th chapter of the society, which counts more than 3,500 colleges and universities across the country in its broader network.
Phi Kappa Phi has stood since 1897 as the nation’s oldest honor society open to every academic discipline. Unlike many honors organizations that focus on a single field of study, this one celebrates excellence across the board. Entry is strictly by invitation, reserved for the top 7.5% of undergraduate juniors and the top 10% of seniors and graduate students. For those who earn a spot, the benefits are substantial: access to scholarships, graduate fellowships, and a far-reaching network of scholars from virtually every profession and area of study.
The upcoming ceremony will include the formal signing of the chapter charter, with university leadership, faculty organizers, and Phi Kappa Phi representatives all taking part. The event will also feature remarks centered on academic excellence and the society’s guiding mission.

“Bringing Phi Kappa Phi to Stanton University is a recognition of what our students have earned through their commitment to learning. This chapter will give them a lasting connection to a national community of scholars, and it will give our whole campus a reason to celebrate academic achievement.” — Dr. Ellen Lee, Vice President, Stanton University
