eCOphite™ Advanced Anode Material
COnovate is developing eCOphite™, an advanced anode material for lithium-ion batteries that is produced from carbon dioxide. The technology addresses both the performance demands of next-generation battery systems and the environmental imperative to utilize carbon emissions productively. The company is focused on scaling production within the United States to support domestic battery supply chains.
The leadership transition positions COnovate to accelerate its path to commercialization. Rigby’s experience in global manufacturing operations and business development provides the commercial expertise needed to bring eCOphite™ to market, while Dr. Hirschmugl’s continued leadership as CTO ensures the technical development program remains on track.
“I’m honored to lead this outstanding team on the journey to delivering commercial impact across the value chain,” said Craig Rigby.
