Western Specialty Contractors Completes Architectural Sheet Metal and Roofing Project at AdHoc Center

The Kansas City Sheet Metal branch of Western Specialty Contractors has wrapped up a project involving architectural sheet metal, roofing, and waterproofing at the AdHoc Center in Kansas City, MO.

Acting as a subcontractor, Western fabricated and put in place standing-seam metal roof and wall panels for the new facility. The project also included a range of custom architectural metal components and flashings, all designed to deliver lasting weather protection and improve the building’s final exterior look.

Western’s scope involved producing and installing architectural metal flashings, scuppers, conductor heads, sill flashing, head flashing, gutters, and downspouts. Working together, these elements help manage water across the building envelope and channel it away from the structure.

“Precision is essential during both fabrication and installation for architectural sheet metal projects to ensure all individual components work together as a complete system,” said Ryan Boyle, Project Manager at Western Specialty Contractors. “Our team took pride in delivering quality craftsmanship across the roof, wall panels, flashings and drainage components to help achieve the overall vision for the facility.”

The work started in December 2025 and reached completion in May 2026. Western delivered the project on time and within budget, meeting the satisfaction of the project team.
