LAS VEGAS, August 4, 2026. The NOMAI Fellowship, a worldwide AI governance program tailored for currently serving parliamentarians, has announced its participation in Ai4 Las Vegas, one of the premier conferences focused on enterprise AI. Throughout the event, the NOMAI delegation will be present at Booth 342, Hall BC, 2nd Floor, Venetian Expo.
AI regulations are being crafted at this very moment, yet most of this work proceeds without input from legislators. More than 100 jurisdictions are developing AI-related laws during 2025 and 2026, but fewer than 5 percent of lawmakers have received a balanced, independent briefing on the subject. NOMAI was created to address this gap, assembling fifty inaugural Charter Fellows from more than 25 democracies to participate in six modules led by experts, a lifelong alumni community, and a Capstone Showcase where each fellow presents a legislative or policy proposal tailored to their own region.
At Ai4, visitors can stop by the booth to discover what the founding Charter Cohort is currently developing, learn how this nonpartisan fellowship fits into a parliamentary schedule, and explore ways to become involved.
During the conference, NOMAI will also record a live podcast from the booth featuring Alaa Moussawi, Chief Data Scientist at the New York City Council, discussing how public institutions are implementing AI, how democratic systems should approach its regulation, and additional topics.
