The K. Stewart Foundation (KSF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe and affirming paths to parenthood, wellness, and economic security for families, is set to host Bodies In Bloom LA on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12 to 2 PM at The Living Room DTLA, 1041 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90015. The event, which is free to attend with an RSVP, is tailored for the queer women's community in LA and the families they create.
Bodies In Bloom LA comes at a critical time when access to healthcare and women's autonomy face significant challenges. Instead of waiting, KSF is responding in its characteristic way: by uniting the community. The event features a moderated panel discussion with a range of specialists, an open dialogue with the audience, and dedicated time for attendees to network and access resources. Every participant departs empowered, informed, and with a gift bag provided by the Foundation's partners.
Established in 2023, The K. Stewart Foundation prioritizes Black and Brown, LGBTQIA+, and women-led and femme-led families who have traditionally been left out of conventional care systems. The Foundation's initiatives are built on its S.A.F.E. framework: Safety and Access to affirming care and transparent information, Family Services for same-sex couples, parents, and families creating their own paths, and Education on health, rights, and personal autonomy.

A demonstrated history of community support
KSF's efforts are backed by a growing track record of success, including over 500 consultations, a network of more than 2,000 members, and 82+ mission partners. In 2025, the Foundation hosted its first annual OUT + EXCELLENT Charity Gala, which honored Bay Area LGBTQIA+ leaders, and has also collaborated with the City of Oakland and the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center to organize Oakland's inaugural LGBTQ+ Job Fair. Bodies In Bloom LA signifies the Foundation's entry into the Los Angeles area with this work.
