Dr. Myers comes on board as Sarcomatrix pushes its primary small-molecule asset, S-969, toward Investigational New Drug (IND) filing and initial human trials.
Dr. Myers brings over fifteen years of senior leadership experience directing clinical development, regulatory strategy, medical affairs, and global clinical operations within biotechnology firms that develop cutting-edge therapies. Before joining Sarcomatrix, he held top executive roles such as Chief Medical Officer at Beyond Air, Revolo Biotherapeutics, and Portola Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, Dr. Myers worked as a congenital cardiothoracic surgeon and led the pediatric cardiac surgery departments at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Tulane University.
