As 1990s Mickey Mouse Club cast members gathered in Orlando for House of Mouse Expo, Mouseketeer Jennifer McGill simultaneously directed Hadestown: Teen Edition in Ormond Beach.

ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, August 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Always In The Club Foundation (AITCF), the 501(c)(3) organization co-founded by former cast members of Disney’s 1989-1996 Mickey Mouse Club who have reunited, concluded its return to Orlando this weekend for House of Mouse Expo, which ran July 31 through August 2 at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. The event featured a reunion panel, book signings, an after party, and Club Meetups with donors at Walt Disney World Resort. House of Mouse Expo, produced by The Main Street Mouse, is the fourth annual gathering celebrating Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel fandom. Returning to the city where the series was filmed, cast members Chasen Hampton, Tony Lucca, Dale Godboldo, Albert Fields, Damon Pampolina, and Jennifer McGill greeted fans and marked the launch of the Limited Edition book, Always In The Club: The True Story of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club. They were part of a guest roster that also included Joey Lawrence, Matthew Lawrence, Andrew Lawrence, Emily Swallow, Daniel Logan, John O’Hurley, Kaitlyn Robrock (the voice of Minnie Mouse), Olivia Olson, Jenna von Oy, and other celebrities associated with Disney. That same weekend, Mouseketeer Jennifer McGill was working forty minutes up the coast. Serving as Director of Arts Education for Halifax Repertory Theatre, McGill is directing the company’s teen ensemble in Hadestown: Teen Edition, which runs July 31 through August 9 at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center. This overlap placed McGill on two distinct Central Florida stages within a short span: one centered on the legacy of a program that launched her own career as a teenage performer, and the other focused on a fresh group of teen performers she is now mentoring.

“It feels like coming full circle,” remarked Jennifer McGill, Mouseketeer and Director of Arts Education for Halifax Repertory Theatre. “As a teenager, I was figuring things out on a soundstage here in this city. Now, just down the road, I get to be the person in the room helping a new set of teenagers figure out their own paths.”

The Foundation’s leadership highlighted McGill’s dual responsibilities as a reflection of the mentorship focus that drives AITCF’s efforts.

“Jennifer’s weekend is a perfect illustration of our mission,” said Chasen Hampton, Executive Director of Always In The Club Foundation and a fellow cast member. “She received mentorship on an Orlando soundstage as a child, and today she is mentoring the next generation of kids on her own Florida stage. Everything Jennifer is accomplishing at Halifax Rep embodies exactly what we support at AITCF.”

The Expo weekend also offered one of the final opportunities to acquire the Limited Edition Collector’s Series of Always In The Club, with a limited number of copies sold exclusively at the event. A waiting list has been established for a possible second printing, and the Foundation has announced that a Trade Edition is scheduled for broad release later this year.
