RICHMOND, CA, UNITED STATES, July 28, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Economic Development Commission of the City of Richmond is pleased to announce the first-ever Sustainable Richmond Expo 2026, a complimentary public gathering that celebrates sustainability, creativity, and community involvement. Scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will take place at City Council Chambers, 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, California.
Organized through Richmond’s Sustainable Lens, the Expo aims to unite residents, enterprises, non-profits, and civic leaders to examine the concepts, goods, and answers influencing Richmond’s environmentally friendly trajectory. Opening remarks are set for 11 a.m., featuring city officials. The gathering is free of charge and accessible to everybody.
Participating exhibitor sections will encompass nine areas: Green Tech & Renewable Energy, Climate Justice & Environmental Equity, Urban Farming & Food Sustainability, Hydroponic Farming/Gardening, Industrial Hemp & Sustainable Materials, Youth Innovation & Education, Electric Vehicles & Clean Transportation, Faith Based & Community Action, and Art & Culture.

The Sustainable Richmond Expo 2026 is hosted by the Sustainability/Business, Industrial Hemp Subcommittee of the Richmond Economic Development Commission, backed by the Economic Development Department and fiscal sponsor RCF Connects, with support from the City of Richmond and Communications Team.
