NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea series, now in its highly praised third season, stages one of its most daring programs yet as the Mabel Mercer Foundation presents “Hey, Old Friend! A Cabaret Jubilee,” headlined by KT Sullivan, Mark Nadler, Christine Pedi, and Stephanie Pope. This event takes place at LTV Studios in Wainscott on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, at 7:30pm. Uniting four celebrated artists whose careers span Broadway stages, cabaret rooms, concert halls, and recording studios, the show honors the music, wit, and enduring charm of the Great American Songbook.
Rather than a standard concert, “Hey, Old Friend! A Cabaret Jubilee” channels the vibe of New York’s renowned Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, weaving unforgettable songs with narrative, humor, and the unique artistry that has endeared each performer to audiences and reviewers. The outcome is a tribute to American popular music delivered by artists who have dedicated decades to preserving and reimagining the cabaret tradition.
KT Sullivan, Artistic Director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation and one of cabaret’s most revered interpreters of the American Songbook, leads the evening. She reconnects with acclaimed pianist, vocalist, and storyteller Mark Nadler, whose skill and theatrical energy earned him the nickname “Mr. Entertainment” from The New York Times. After their sold-out Hamptons appearance last season, the duo returns with a refreshed, expanded lineup that adds two more Broadway and cabaret luminaries.
They are joined by Christine Pedi, the award-winning Broadway performer recognized for her work in Chicago, Forbidden Broadway, Spamilton, and her celebrated stage impersonations, alongside Stephanie Pope, whose Broadway résumé includes starring roles in Fosse, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Chicago, and Pippin. Together, this foursome delivers an evening of dazzling musicianship, theatrical storytelling, and heartfelt appreciation for the songs that continue to define American popular culture.
This performance advances Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea’s commitment to bringing top-tier Broadway and cabaret talent into LTV Studios’ cozy setting, where audiences experience legendary performers just feet from the stage. Curated by Donna Rubin and LTV Creative Director Josh Gladstone, the series has become a signature cultural attraction on the East End, pairing internationally recognized talent with the warmth and immediacy of a café-style concert environment.
