Global reveals of the all-new TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7 were the highlights of Chery’s breathtaking Global User Summit
Chery pulled back the curtain on a sweeping vision for the future of transportation at its 2026 Global User Summit, giving attendees a look at how the automaker is weaving vehicles into a broader tapestry of clean energy, robotics, and artificial intelligence. The event made clear that the company sees itself as far more than a carmaker — it is building an interconnected mobility ecosystem.
Under the banner of ‘Together. For Family’, Chery Brand Night took center stage at the Wuhu Grand Theatre, where the world got its first look at the all-new TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7. These SUVs were designed with the realities of modern family life in mind, and they shared the spotlight with families from across the globe, alongside brand ambassadors and football legends Peter Crouch and Edwin van der Sar, who offered personal stories about how their vehicles support daily routines and weekend getaways.

At the Chery Branding Exhibition, the ‘For Family’ concept came to life in tangible form. Visitors could explore a broad cross-section of the brand’s global lineup, from the all-electric Chery Q hatchback — recently showcased at the Paris Motor Show — to the Chery Stockman pick-up. Each model underscored Chery’s commitment to placing families at the core of its design philosophy, pairing dependable engineering with a focus on safety and comfort.
The exhibition also offered a glimpse of what lies ahead, with an AI-powered AiMOGA humanoid robot and a quadruped robot roaming the floor and engaging with attendees. These machines draw on Chery’s full suite of global R&D capabilities, supply chain resources, and mass-production expertise.
Farrell Hsu, Managing Director at Chery UK, framed the showcase as evidence of the company’s momentum. “What we presented at our Global User Summit is a clear demonstration of the incredible speed at which we’re developing new customer-focused technologies, together with a clear long-term future strategy that integrates AI, robotics, and smart energy infrastructure,” he said.
Hsu also offered reassurance to UK customers as the brand deepens its local footprint. “As Chery continues to expand its presence in the UK, backed by our new R&D centre at UTAC Millbrook, our customers can be confident that they are choosing a brand with immense technological strength and proven global engineering expertise.”
In cities and in the skies: Mobility taken to the next level
Chery’s ambitions extend well beyond conventional roads. The company presented a Robotaxi built for autonomous, shared urban mobility, capable of Level 4 autonomy. Powered by Falcon Pilot intelligent driving technology, this vehicle can handle fully automated passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as coordinated charging operations using autonomous mobile charging robots. Chery noted that its intelligent driving systems have already secured certifications under international regulatory frameworks, including UN/ECE.
To underscore the breadth of its technological reach, Chery also displayed the Lingxiao J506, a passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Built on the same core technological foundation as the Robotaxi, this aircraft is engineered to hit a top speed exceeding 350 km/h and achieve a range of more than 1,000 km.
Vehicle-to-Grid: Unlocking value in distributed energy networks
Chery’s vision extends into energy infrastructure as well. The company showcased its Volt-dragon ultra-fast charging technology and a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) smart energy demonstration station, which integrates solar power generation, battery storage, and megawatt-level ultra-fast charging into a local microgrid. Through bidirectional V2G technology, EVs can act as mobile energy storage units, feeding electricity back into the grid when needed to help balance demand and support more efficient energy management.
These integrated solar, storage, and charging solutions are already showing commercial promise in Europe. At an electric heavy-truck facility in Spain, a solar-plus-storage microgrid has replaced diesel-powered electricity generation, significantly cutting operating costs.
Looking ahead, Chery plans to establish 20,000 V2G-enabled stations worldwide by 2029, a move intended to deliver practical energy solutions for markets with less-developed electricity infrastructure while supporting the shift toward more sustainable transportation.

Why it matters: Chery’s summit reveals a manufacturer aggressively diversifying beyond traditional vehicles, betting big on AI-driven autonomy, flying cars, and energy grid integration. For consumers, this signals a future where the family car is just one node in a connected ecosystem of transport, power, and technology — and Chery is positioning itself to lead that charge.
