“This is a tremendous achievement for our Program and College. This mark of distinction shows that our Program meets the highest industry standards ensuring high-quality training for our students.”— B. Sudie Akinrotiba, PhD, LMSW, Social Work Program DirectorNEW BRITAIN, CT, UNITED STATES, July 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Charter Oak State College (www.CharterOak.edu/BSW) is proud to announce that its BSW Program has earned full accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Board of Accreditation (BOA).
When the BOA accredits a social work program, it signifies that the program meets or surpasses quality benchmarks established through a peer review accreditation process. An accredited program possesses adequate resources to fulfill its mission and objectives, and the BOA has confirmed its adherence to all accreditation criteria.
This accreditation covers every program option, including various locations and delivery methods. It offers strong assurance regarding the program’s quality and the preparedness of its graduates.
