Avant Interventional Psychiatry Lends Support to Atlanta Families at Back-to-School Health and Wellness Event
Avant collaborates with Atlanta community partners to assist local families and encourage mental and emotional well-being as children head back to school.
Avant Interventional Psychiatry recently took part alongside community partners in the Annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Event on August 8 at Oak Hill in Atlanta, offering support to local children and families as they got ready for the new academic year.
Staff from the Avant team attended the community gathering, engaged with families, and handed out school supplies to children preparing to return to the classroom.
The event brought together community organizations and health and wellness resources in a single venue, giving families a chance to connect with groups serving the Atlanta area.
PROMOTING MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
For Avant, participating in the event also offered a way to advance a wider discussion about the significance of mental and emotional well-being for children and families.
