Mobile Premiere 2026 debuts 22 games, spotlighting Indian indie scene with cash prizes

The mobile gaming world has long waited for a stage of its own, and last month in Bangkok, that stage finally arrived. The first-ever edition of The Mobile Premiere, which concluded on October 28, 2026, at the Renaissance Bangkok Hotel, delivered 22 exclusive game reveals and updates that signal just how far mobile gaming has come from its casual roots.

Jernej Česen, COO and General Manager at The Mobile Premiere, helped oversee an event that ran alongside the 6th edition of the GamingonPhone Awards. The lineup included 12 brand-new game announcements, four updates for existing titles, and six games from Indian indie developers—a deliberate push to highlight a growing development scene that often gets overlooked on the global stage.

BANGKOK, THAILAND, November 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The event’s impact was immediate: through the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) Indie Excellence Honors, each of the six featured Indian developers walked away with INR 100,000 (roughly 1050 USD) in prize money, a tangible investment in the region’s indie ecosystem.

Tousif Hasan Biswas, Founder and CEO of GamingonPhone, reflected on the milestone: “The first edition of The Mobile Premiere has been a proud moment for us, especially seeing so many developers share what they have been working on with a global audience. We wanted to create a dedicated space for mobile games to be an exclusive space and have a stage of its own, and seeing it all come together alongside the GamingonPhone Awards has been incredibly rewarding, and this is just the beginning of what we hope to build with The Mobile Premiere.”
