Institute of Medicine of Chicago issues call for 2027 maternal and child health speakers

The Institute of Medicine of Chicago is calling on individuals to lend their voices at the 2027 Maternal & Child Health Symposium. The event will take place at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital on March 30, 2027. Those eager to contribute should fill out the Call for Speakers Form and send it in by Nov. 1, 2026.

Organized by the Institute’s Maternal & Child Health Workgroup, the symposium aims to generate fresh ideas and bold discussions that propel maternal and child health forward. Proposals are encouraged on subjects such as maternal health equity, behavioral health, social determinants, community-led models, policy, economics, and other creative strategies. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Have an innovative concept for advancing equity in maternal and child health? Both individuals and organizations are invited to submit educational, non-commercial proposals. To apply, complete the form with your session title and a concise, 50-word overview of your learning goals by Nov. 1, 2026. Include your CV or speaker biography to show your qualifications. Send your submission via email to mchsymposium@iomc.org. Selected presenters will be informed by November 15, 2026.

The 2027 Maternal & Child Health Symposium will assemble healthcare, public health, and community leaders—along with motivated professionals from all sectors. Attendees can look forward to engaging keynote speakers, lively panel conversations, interactive displays, and new opportunities for networking and collaboration. Together, we can create meaningful change.
